Leveraged Management Services, Inc. is a consulting and management service company that provides assistance with a different approach. We engage the talent of your own organization to help get the job done.

We provide you the services of a single, competent and broadly-experienced executive. We ask you to designate one (or more) of your own employees to work directly with us, not as a point of contact, but as dedicated, full-time team member. We believe that this approach produces superior results and saves you money.

Each of our executives is capable of acting independently but a lone-wolf approach suffers from slower start-up and execution, higher internal resistance and frequently, sub-optimized solutions. Internal team members will help overcome these problems. They will retain important knowledge and enable better continuity.

We use the term, Designated Company Resource, DCR for short, to refer to the person assigned to work with us. Many assignments, particularly fact finding inquiries and limited scope operational reviews, may only require one person from your staff.

For many project assignments we can work with the designated project leader or program manager as a coach or collaborator. We can help get the project up and running or re-energized and then withdraw at an opportune time.

We can assume an operational role if we are asked to temporarily fill a management vacancy. In this case we ask that a deputy be designated to aid in our introduction and assist with the transfer of responsibility when a successor is appointed.

Generally, whenever we act in a consultancy, leadership or managerial role we will ask that you appoint a DCR. But, for some engagements this may not be necessary or appropriate. We see no need if we join a high level project team (for an acquisition, for example) and will be acting in a staff role.
